Walk MS 2009 will be one of New Jersey’s largest, most widespread days of walking! The event will be taking place in 15 different walk sites throughout NJ. The local walk site for all those in Bergen County looking to get involved is the Ridgewood walk site, at Graydon Pool. Walk MS 2009 kicks off Sunday, April 19, 2009. All of the 15 walk sites include: Belmar, Cranford, Edison, Flemington, Freehold, Hamilton, Hewitt, Jersey City, Ridgewood, Roseland, Roxbury, Sandy Hook, Seaside Park, North Brunswick and Somerville. Box 117 Ridgewood, NJ 07451 Contact: Leesa Manderano 201-445-6724 Register Now For Fall Soccer Registration for the Ridgewood Soccer Association’s 2009 fall programs will open on March 1st and run through April 30th. The soccer season begins September 5th and concludes November 15th with programs available for children and teens in 1st through 12th grade. A variety of programs are offered for all skill levels. In-town programs are available for children in 1st through 6th grade. Travel programs are available for players in 5th through 12th grade. The popular co-ed high school program, in its 6th year, offers a great way to meet and socialize with other RHS students in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Scrimmages are organized during the week and games are played on Sunday afternoons. The RSA also offers a special needs program which conducts sessions on Saturday afternoons. This program, designed for ages 7 through 14, develops skills and promotes physical fitness. All participants are paired with a coach-mentor from the Ridgewood High School Girls Soccer team and receive individualized attention in a small group setting. Registrations completed after April 30th will be assessed a $50 late fee and travel team players may be wait listed based on team availability. KID ‘ ZMUSIK
Village of Ridgewood Recreation Department
Come and Enjoy “KID’ZMUSIK” at the Village Community Center Families rave about Kid’zMusik, “it’s enthusiastic, energetic and educational hands-on fun”. Mr. Joe and Carmen encourage children to participate directly in the process of making live music and learning the fundamentals. It’s an exciting show geared for toddlers through early elementary aged students; you won’t want to miss it! The show will be held Tuesday, April 28th, 10:30 a.m., at the Community Center, Village Hall, 131 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood. Admission is $5.00, ages 2 and up. As seating is limited, it is suggested tickets be purchased in advance at the Recreation Office at the Stable, 259 N.
