Ad Posted December 1, Ad Removed December 31, 2008.

  1. Did I read something wrong? Was their not just something out about possible layoff of Village workers? How do you increase high paid management but decrease the workers who are actually out there providing service to the residents?

  2. Toto I don’t think we’re in Ridgewood anymore.

(sounds like we landed in Chicago)

  3. just what we need. why not hire some people in all depts. so some work can get done. not one dept. has the staffing to keep things running the way they should.

  4. How can the ad be “posted Dec 1 and removed Dec 31, 2008?”

And, isn’t Janet Fricke the asst Village Manager? So is she leaving?

  5. Janet is the “Assistant to the Village Manager” – not the “Assistant Village Manager” — apparently removing the “to the” makes it a different job.

  6. This isn’t a new job, they are replacing someone who left

  7. we dont need this we need more worker in all depts.how much is this going to pay 100000 to start, and you ,./.,/ say we dont have money more and more bull shit.

  8. we can hire two workers for what this person will make.bad move.

  9. Can’t we just chuck Ten Hoeve out and then get someone who can do a sober and competent job — we wouldn’t need two people.

  10. Who Left?? — I wasn’t aware we had a previous Assistant Village Manager.

  11. This is a disgrace. Poor management all around.

  12. There was a Deputy Village Manager back in the 90’s—

  13. maybe a good job for one of the moritz boys beats clerk typist

  14. we need a deputy dog in town.
