Fees Set For Unscheduled Bulk Refuse Pick Ups

In Uncategorized on August 14, 2008 at 10:59 am

Under a plan approved by Village Council members on Wednesday night, property owners and tenants who request bulk refuse pick ups on days when there is no pick up scheduled for their area will now be charged for such service.

The fee is $150 for up to 6 cubic yards of waste and $250 for amounts over 6 cubic yards.

  1. Not too bad when considering the price of a dumpster although I don’t know if many residents will be willing to haul 6 cy of garbage to the street.

  2. This is petty on the part of the VC.

  3. as a homeowner, do i get a tax credit when they miss my scheduled regular pick up?

  4. How often does this happen?
    Is this a big issue?

What are the revenue projections for this fee?

    Who introduced the plan?

    Does anyone know?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. make’em pay always looking to get over at everyone elses expense

  6. Someone has to cover the increased insurance premiums that the $30 million Graydon drowning lawsuit is going to cost us.
