  1. Good Idea.. everybody over to Keith Killion’s and John Carroll’s house for a swim in their personal sanitary swimming pools… any other pool owners?

  2. Now, Now.. be nice.. (guess who that was} but a good idea… I’ll bring the Cold drinks for the kids and something for the older ones that just come to watch in the shade.

  3. If we are going to post our opinions Anonymous, then we should not call out other people by name.

It just makes you look bad.

  4. You’d think that for $85 million in taxpayer’s money the schools would have a/c.

  5. the hsa’s “paid” for/ donated the money to our BOE to get a/c’s for classrooms at Travell not too long ago.

  6. The main problem is that some schools have AC and some don’t. The ones that have it usually don’t have it in all classrooms. The BF HSA just donated 16 units. They have all been placed in classrooms. Still, not all classrooms are air-conditioned. Is Travell totally air-conditioned?
My own child attends GW and only 1 classroom that she is in during her whole day has a window unit. My son attends another school, his classroom has one, but it is “broken.”
Hey, we didn’t have any snowdays, right? I say they made the right decision.

  7. they did at most of the other schools too.

  8. Heard from a BF student and RHS student, Monday at RHS, Three students passed out from the heat!

  9. MESSAGE TO ALL….

The Blog Rules Czar (a.k.a. 12:16 PM) has spoken…

If we are going to post our opinions Anonymous, then we should not call out other people by name.

    So watch it!

  10. BFMS is undergoing window renovation. Most of my child’s classrooms did not have any/adequate AC on Monday. My elementary school child’s teacher decided not to turn on the air until it reached 95 degrees in the classrom as the window units are too noisy (in her opinion).

Despite the fact that this was a huge inconvenience for me, a working parent, I think they made the right call. I don’t think there would have been much learning going on yesterday.

  11. Thank you. This web site is in dire need of a Czar.

Posting Anonymous snipes about people is just like writing on the bathroom wall. After eighth grade most people know that it is wrong.
