That’s Dr. real piece of sh*t maggot to you sir!

Show a little respect to

Bill Ayers began his career in primary education while an undergraduate, teaching at the Children’s Community School (CCS). After leaving the underground, he earned an M.Ed from Bank Street College in Early Childhood Education (1984), an M.Ed from Teachers College, Columbia University in Early Childhood Education (1987) and an Ed.D from Columbia University in Curriculum and Instruction (1987).
Ayers’ influence on what is taught in the nation’s public schools is likely to grow in the future.

Last month, he was elected vice president for curriculum of the 25,000-member American Educational Research Association (AERA), the nation’s largest organization of education-school professors and researchers. Ayers won the election handily, and there is no doubt that his fellow education professors knew whom they were voting for.

In the short biographical statement distributed to prospective voters beforehand, Ayers listed among his scholarly books Fugitive Days, an unapologetic memoir about his ten years in the Weather Underground. The book includes dramatic accounts of how he bombed the Pentagon and other public buildings.

  1. looks like the voters of Ridgewood support these types of people and philosophy …i cant wait for the muni elections

  2. yes Ridgewood Schools have been a safe haven for this kind of junk for a long time and here we were told by BOE supporters on this blog that the “kids were stupid” ,mybe its the parents that are”stupid”

  3. so what are the future castors doing today in school ,perhaps a 1/2 hour of down with america chanting

  4. PJ you forgot to mention the other fake blog that got emails for the BOE to email out and promote itself ,more misinformation from your BOE I love it and love that the same clowns keep getting elected….

  5. The municipal election should be interesting…

It is a tug of war between “the corrupt insider incumbent” and “the corrupt socialist party machine”

Momentum, apathy and blind trust vs. socialist ideology and change…

    Very interesting…

Quite a little tug of war, but in the end, I put my money on socialist ideology.

Oh, and Killion will also win a seat… that’s a given. He’s the only honest one in the lot and it shows since all sides like him.

  6. absolutely shameful … wake up RIDGEWOOD .. oh wait – please don’t, let little Biff and Muffy live off their trust fund while being intellectually challenged – can’t calculate the tip for their chauffeur without a calculator, can’t located Afghanistan on a map, and have read nothing more challenging than Oh The Places You’ll Go by Dr. Suess.

  7. 240 right on fits the sheepish nature of the parents in this town

  8. This thin thread about Ayers started because a link to his organization was next to a link to an organization Botsford belongs to. I’m diappointed Botsford was re-elected, and I wish our schools would dump TERC, EM, and CMP2 and teach real math. And it’s sad, but humorously ironic, that Ayers bombed the math building at the University of Wisconsin.

And no doubt there’s similarity in the ideology of Ayers and the ASDC. But any attempt to connect Botsford and the ASDC to Ayers isn’t credible. There is plenty of credible evidene that reform math should be removed, and ‘authentic assessment’ is anything but. Be credbile and factual. We don’t need to give the BOE and it’s supporters more reasons to bash this blog and continue to ignore the call for an end to reform math.

  9. 9:13 You sure sound like L.G. Your voice is starting to get recognizable on this blog.

But go for it. You have good ideas.

  10. 913 what are you smoking the article simply says that asdc is linked to ayres and asdc is linked to ridgewood FACTS ARE FACTS end of story your editorial is an attempt to shift the argument the town supports the present BOE and the dumb dumb math I dont I dont have the luxury of living of daddy’s money

  11. Can we tap Ayers to bomb another building? This time, here in Ridgewood. That old Gothic one on the corner of, well you know.

  12. “We don’t need to give the BOE and it’s (sic) supporters more reasons to bash this blog…”

If the bloggers were as sweet as Shirley Temple, the BOE and its sycophants would still find a reason to “bash this blog.”

They are truly afraid of the free flow of ideas and criticism.

Up until this blog gave voice to parents, the BOE controlled all information and discussion.
